It might not be the best gift for other people, but personalised calendars can make great wedding souvenirs. Whatever month you’re married, you can have your calendar for the following year and have a year-long reminder of your special day.
You get wedding photographs, but these are tucked away in albums bar a couple of the best photos which you might keep on display. A calendar however, offers a chance for 12 pictures to get an airing for a month each. By the time you get to October, you might have forgotten that particular photograph and it could be a nice surprise.
Of course calendars can be personalised in all sorts of different ways. Family pictures are obviously very popular, but you could have one made of a sports team you play for. It’s very common for sports clubs to have calendars made for charity or to raise funds for new equipment.
Many people have calendars made featuring their pets. If you’re the kind of person who takes hundreds of pictures of your cat or dog, you’ve now got an excuse. You’re making a calendar. Whatever the reason and whatever the subject matter, personalised calendars are far more interesting that readymade ones.
